• The 1000 watt (2.5hp) motor is undaunted by the demands of a 330mm x 150mm planing capacity, powering the 2-blade block at a no load speed of 8,000 rpm with a thicknessing performance up to 3mm depth of cut per pass it also offers two individual feed rates 6 metres per minute (fast) for initial passes and rapid thicknessing results, and 4 metres per minute (slow) for a premium surface finish
• Fox's typical polish and panache evidences itself in the finer detail
• A large recessed handwheel makes depth adjustment a piece of cake, faciIitating a thicknessing range of 4.2mm up to 150mm in height
• The cutter head can be locked into place to eliminate any movement, and thus ensure on a consistent surface finish
• To optimise material handling, the F22-560 features rollers on both the fold-down in and outfeed tables and also integrally in the upper casing to assist with multiple passes
• Similar attention has been paid to portability and operator needs, recessed carrying handles, a versatile 100mm/65mm chip collection port enabling connection to both standard and smaller Fox workshop extraction systems, and a tool holder conveniently located under the pivoting table

I purchased one of these a few years ago. The roller drive cogs (2 for front, 2 for back) are the weakness as they are cast, not forged, and break under strain. Cheap and easy to replace.. samecas Axminster and Charnwood 13' thicknessers, probably made in the same factory, badged for different suppliers..
