My buddy bought an Asus E4601 and brought it home and it worked fine when he brought it over to my house a few weeks ago with the Windows OS booted. Took it home with him and he hasn't booted it back up since he was here. Brought it back to work on his codecs and such and he booted it and I looked up and it was in Express Gate mode.
I didnt have any idea of what it was so I looked it up and found out what it is. Ok no big deal So I looked all through it and tried to figure out how to get out of it to Windows 7 because It apparently didn't allow me to do much in there. Couldn't find out how to Windows 7 os.
Restarted the comp and at the login screen it showed a windows update So I clicked to update. It has been sitting at the ''Installing 1 of 1 update'' screen for the past 30 minutes. Unless this is a giant install What the hell is there to do?
Asus Express Gate Drivers Windows 7
From the Express Gate screen I can enter BIOS via F8, BIOS POST via F10, and I think the third option was about boot order. My BIOS has an option to enable or disable this Express Gate but the PC will go to this screen on power up regardless of what I select, although the BIOS is still detecting the harddrive with Windows and it's still first. Big time rush season 1 episode 1.
